The Down Payment and Settlement Assistance (DPS) Program enables low and moderate income households to purchase their home providing assistance to aid in covering the cost of customary down payment and/or settlement charges.
As of July 1, 2022, the DPS Program is increasing the maximum loan amount to $10,000 and changing the terms of repayment. The term for repayment of the DPS loan will be 15 years - for the first 2 years payments will be deferred and monthly payments will begin in year 3.
