Investigation Details:
On Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 at approximately 11:14 p.m., police responded to
a shooting in the area of 758 Christiana Road, Cedar Wood Apartments in Newark
Delaware.
The victim was discovered lying on the ground motionless while in front of a building.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Police are investigating robbery as a possible motive
A witness was able to assist Police with the construction of a composite sketch of the possible suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male 5’7 to 5’10” tall, who had dark complexion and weighed approximately 200 lbs.
