NCC Housing Everyone Locator Program (NCC HELP)

The NCC Housing Everyone Locator Program (NCC HELP) is a new initiative to help homeless families in our area as well as clients of the Housing Choice Voucher Program find affordable housing in New Castle County. Made possible by a grant from Home4Good, NCC HELP will partner with property owners and managers, as well as providers of support services, to help our clients find rapid access to safe, affordable housing.

NCC HELP is founded on the "Housing First" model, which centers stable, permanent housing as essential to insecurely housed families being able to get the help they need to live decently and to recover from trauma they may have suffered. NCC HELP is also part of a network of social service providers that uses the Case Management Information System (CMIS) overseen in DE by Housing Alliance Delaware to offer comprehensive, wrap-around services for those facing homelessness.

HELP at the Hope Center

The NCC HELP Coordinator works out of the New Castle County Hope Center, and is available on-site to work with families there to find permanent housing. The coordinator is also available by phone and email as a resource for clients of the HCV Program who need assistance finding rental units.
