Churchman's Crossing Plan Update - Completed January 2022
The New Castle County Department of Land Use, WILMAPCO and DelDOT and are developing a comprehensive update to the 1997 Churchman’s Crossing Plan. The current Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update will include new recommendations on transportation improvements, land use strategies, and transportation demand management (TDM) strategies. The Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update is now complete and has been adopted by the WILMAPCO Council in January 2022.

Churchman's Crossing Virtual Public Workshop - October 25, 2021, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
This online workshop included a summary of the planning process, recommended land use principles and transportation improvement projects, and potential implementation strategies.
Churchman's Crossing Virtual Public Workshop - June 23, 2021, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
This online workshop included technical analysis results, preliminary recommendations, and a discussion of potential plan implementation tools.
[email protected] Deep Dive Session #4 - April 7, 2021, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
This workshop was designed to further examine topics comprising the [email protected] Comprehensive Plan.

- This Deep Dive Session also featured the Churchman’s Crossing Plan and included a focused land use discussion on subarea planning and countywide planning.
Churchman's Crossing Virtual Public Workshop - March 3, 2021, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
This was the second Virtual Public Workshop for the Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update. This Virtual Public Workshop included an overview of transportation and land use scenario planning and present preliminary results for the Churchman’s Crossing study area. These results, along with your input and feedback, guided more detailed analysis of refined alternatives for future workshops.
Churchman's Crossing Transportation and Land Use Plan Update Virtual Public Workshop - September 16, 2020, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
This was the first Virtual Public Workshop for the Churchman's Crossing Transportation and Land Use Plan Update. The Workshop provided an overview of the project, including the schedule, goals, and background information. The workshop explained what a Master Plan is and why it is important in shaping the future of a community.
