New Castle County Libraries’ first Teen Video Challenge is here! The challenge is for teens between 12-19 to create a video that depicts life during COVID. Videos should be between 1 to 3 minutes long and must be submitted between October 1 and December 31, 2020. Prize winners will be notified in February.
Contest Rules and Info
- Create a video between 1 to 3 minutes that depicts life during COVID. Possible video ideas:
- Talk about newly discovered books/movies/music/tv
- Civic action: protests, voting, staying informed
- Self-care tips
- Cooking/baking demos or recipe sharing
- New crafts or hobbies - Judges will be evaluating the level of originality, visuals, and audio/music.
- All music and video must be original content or obtained through websites such as Free Music Archive.
- No inappropriate language or imagery may be used.
- Post your video on YouTube and title it: "Teen Video Challenge 2020: [Your Video Title]"
- Fill out Google Form. The form includes contact info, YouTube link, and acknowledgment of consent from you and other potential video participants for New Castle County Libraries to display/share the video.
