GLASSBLOWING and STAINED GLASS

Join us in beautiful Glasgow Park and work with a resident glass artist to blow your own glass piece with McFadden Art Glass’s Mobile Glassblowing Studio.  Each participant will be directly involved in the glassblowing process to create a one-of-a-kind piece.  Choose from the following glass project options: pumpkin, flower, ornament, cup. Each time slot is an hour long and is limited to five people. Projects must cool down and can be picked up at Glasgow Park’s Frazier House at a later date. Please note this program runs outside and is dependent on the weather. If there is inclement weather in the forecast, participants will be notified, and the class must be rescheduled. Adults 

 

SUCCULENT PLANTER

This is a full beginner’s class, during this class you will cut, grind, foil and solder, then learn to put together a 3D piece! You will take your piece home.

 

YOGA IN THE PARK

Instructor:  Melissa Stanley with YMCA BEAR

1 hour class, Free

Thu | 5:30—6:30 p.m. | June 1-August 31

Become familiar with basic yoga postures and breathing. Increase your flexibility, endurance, strength, balance, and coordination. Use your mind to focus specifically on a target area to feel each movement and position.
