The New Castle County Register of Wills Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for the region’s brightest students to gain valuable professional experience while helping New Castle County become one of the great counties within our nation. This program is designed to provide undergraduate, graduate, and law school students with hands-on experience in county government that will help better prepare them for future careers. Interns will gain an understanding of the inner workings of the Register of Wills office and have one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with elected and appointed officials.
It is an all-year-round internship program for undergraduate, graduate, and law school students interested in law, public policy, public affairs, government, and public service. This allows the students to gain experience in the public sector. Many interns earn college credit. Students should inquire with their faculty advisors to ensure that they are receiving credit when possible.
