Redistricting Commission

Every ten years, after each regular decennial census, New Castle County Council is required under 9 Del. C. Section 1165 to appoint , a Redistricting Commission made up of thirteen qualified voters of New Castle County.  One member of the Commission is appointed from each of the twelve Council districts of the County and one member is at-large.  None of the members of the Commission may be employed by the County in any other capacity and no more than seven members of the Commission may be affiliated with the same political party.
