Project Information:
Brandywine Springs Park is 62.35 acres of parkland with a playground, sport fields, pavilions, and plenty of open space at the intersection of Faulkland Rd and Newport Gap Pike. The County is looking for feedback on suggested improvements within the park from the community as community reinvestment funds have been made available for trail improvements. The County wants to look at any improvements with a holistic approach and not just limit feedback to trails. Feedback can be submitted at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z2QFP36. The survey form will be open until December 31, 2022.

Project Updates:
May 2023: The department is proceeding forward with comments heard during the December meeting and is scheduled to present at the historical review board to allow the Lawson Pavilion to be demolished. This is necessary due to the park being within a historical overlay district. Once board approval is received, a permit will be obtained from Land Use and the demolition will occur late spring to early summer.
