Ask a Librarian

Ask us, anytime!

Ask a Librarian Delaware is operated by Delaware library staff who can help you online, just as we do in person, from the convenience of your computer or cell phone.  You can ask us through email and text.  Please contact us and we will get back to you, whether it’s about your library account or item, or for research on a particular topic.  We hope to hear from you soon! We appreciate your service and use of our libraries, in person and online!

The Claymont Library opened on October 26, 2013 in a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility with features including a drive up window, meeting and study rooms, increased and updated technology, dedicated Teen and Children’s areas, a walking trail and an outdoor pergola. It was previously housed in a section of the Claymont Community Center since 1988 and founded by the Woman’s Club of Claymont in the Old Stone School in 1929. The library serves as a cornerstone of the Claymont Community, which is experiencing a renaissance.
