Current Paramedic Student Applicants

New Castle County EMS is currently accepting applications from Paramedic Students who are currently enrolled in and attending an accredited paramedic program, are in good academic standing, and have completed a minimum of three semesters with the educational institution. This is completely separate and apart from the Paramedic Academy program held by New Castle County EMS. Applicants will still have to meet the same requirements for passing a written test, physical test, and comprehensive background investigation. Current certification as a Paramedic or EMT is NOT required.

Certified Paramedic Applicants - $10,000 Signing Bonus

New Castle County EMS accepts applications from certified Nationally Registered Paramedics (NRP) with current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS or ITLS at the advanced level. New Castle County EMS is currently offering a $10,000 signing bonus to Certified Paramedic Applicants.
