Faerie Fest

Whether you're a faerie, pirate, gnome, princess, super hero, troll or kid, you are invited to enjoy games, stories, enchanted crafts, costume parades, and museum tours at the Faerie Festival at Rockwood Park.

The day includes; Grandpop Bubbles Bubble Festival, food trucks, merchants selling festive wares and visits from special guests such as the Fairy Queen and other magical surprise guests!

Other free activities include, Hula Hoop instruction and free play, bounce house, art on the rocks, story time, Pixie-land and Tinkertown activity, crafts, and performances by the Delaware Arts Conservatory, Delaware Childrens Theatre, and the First State Ballet Theatre. You can also register to build a Faerie and Gnome Home Project.

New festival shuttle! Parking is now at the Rockwood Office Park at 501 Carr Road, and take a shuttle to the festival or walk along the Delaware Greenway through Bringhurst Woods!

Special Event Pet Policy

We kindly ask you to please keep your pets at home when coming to one of our special events unless the event is specifically designated as "pet friendly". This policy is for the safety of your pets and for the safety of event patrons. People who bring pets to events not specifically designates as a "pet friendly" will be asked to remove their pet from the event grounds. Identified service animals are exempt from this policy.
