The DEPARTMENT OF LAND USE AND PLANNING BOARD of New Castle County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, in a ZOOM Video Conference beginning at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following applications. The order in which the applications are listed is subject to change.
App. 2019-0772-S. North and west side of Half Acre Drive, 500 feet east of Concord Pike. Exploratory Major Land Development Plan and PLUS Review for Half Acre proposes to subdivide the tax parcel into 7 lots for the development of single-family dwellings. NC6.5 Zoning. CD 2. Brandywine Hundred. (T.P. 06-064.00-079)
App. 2020-0482-T (Ord. 20-091). Ordinance 20-091 is a text amendment to amend Section 40.31.120 ("Text Amendments") of the New Castle County Code regarding the process related to text amendments and amendments or substitutes thereto.
App. 2020-0487-T (Ord. 20-092). Ordinance 20-092 is a text amendment to amend Sections 40.30.210 ("County Council") and 40.30.340 ("Meetings") of the New Castle County Code relating to meetings, hearings, and procedures for New Castle County boards, committees, and commissions and County Council.
App. 2020-0476-T (Ord. 20-090). Ordinance 20-090 is a text amendment to amend New Castle County Code Chapter 40 (also known as the Unified Development Code or "UDC"), regarding Article 27 ("Maintenance Organizations, Open Space, and Common Facilities"), Article 31 ("Procedures and Administration"), and Appendix 2 ("Fees").
App. 2020-0475-T (Ord. 20-097). Ordinance 20-097 is a text amendment to amend New Castle County Code Chapter 40 regarding Article 2 ("Establishment of Zoning Districts"), Article 4 ("District Intensity and Bulk Standards"), Article 18 ("Byway Protection Overlay District"), Article 30 ("County Council and Administrative Bodies"), Article 31 ("Procedures and Administration"), Article 33 ("Definitions"), Appendix 1 ("Application and Plan Requirements"), Appendix 2 ("Fees"), Appendix 6 ("Miscellaneous items") and to establish Appendix 8 ("Byway Overlay Area resources").
Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.
