New Castle County Government reopened Wednesday morning and resumed normal operating hours the day after a the second snowstorm in three days hit northern Delaware.
The County gave non-essential personnel the day off on Tuesday given the inclement weather, following the State of Delaware's lead on early Tuesday morning. Essential personnel still had to report.
The National Weather Service in Mounty Holly, N.J. reported that 2.9 inches of snow fell in Wilmington Tuesday.
