A woman found dead Friday night by a Wilmington-area road has been identified, New Castle County Police said Monday.
She was 27-year-old Aminia McCray, Cpl. Tracey Duffy said.
About 11:20 p.m. Friday, a witness reported seeing a person lying by the first block of Short Hill Road, where responding officers found the deceased woman, Duffy said.
"Detectives continue to investigate this incident and do not suspect foul play," she said.
No additional information about the victim was released.
