NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DELAWARE
THE NEW CASTLE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY WILL ACCEPT LOTTERY ENTRY FORM APPLICATIONS ONLINE TO ESTABLISH THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER WAITING LIST STARTING 8:00 AM DECEMBER 3, 2018 UNTIL 11:59 PM DECEMBER 7, 2018
YOU MUST PROVIDE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND AN EMAIL ADDRESS
Only online pre-applications (lottery entry forms) will be accepted at https://housing.nccde.org. Any interested person, 18 years of age or older can apply online 24-hours a day beginning at 8:00 AM December 03, 2018 until 11:59 PM December 07, 2018. Only one family request will be accepted per log-on. All applicants will have an equal chance of being selected in the computerized lottery. It does not matter when you complete a lottery entry form, as long as it is submitted between 8:00AM, December 03, 2018 and 11:59 PM, December 07, 2018. After that time period, a computerized lottery will be conducted to select 500 entry forms.
HOW TO APPLY:
When the waiting list opens, applicants can complete an online lottery entry form at https://housing.nccde.org
After the lottery entry form is submitted, the applicant will receive a confirmation number and e-mail. Applicants can check their status online after January 2, 2019.
Applicants will be notified by regular mail if they were selected by the lottery. (This information cannot be given to applicants by phone).
