County Police's High Tech Crime Fighting Featured in The Police Chief magazine

New Castle County Executive Tom Gordon was pleased to learn of the recent publicity the New Castle County Police Department received for the T.A.P.S. program that helped the NCCPD reduce overall crime in the County by 10.1 percent.

Public Safety Director Joe Bryant and Colonel Elmer Setting provided County staff with a link to the article published by the Police Chief magazine. Director Bryant and Chief Setting said being featured by the magazine was a testament to the great work done by the police division and the unwavering support provided by County Executive Gordon, CAO David Grimaldi and Deputy CAO Jim McDonald.

Both the Executive and the deputy CAO were police officers earlier in their careers.
