Are you, your group, or team looking for community service projects...especially fun ones? Sleep under the Stars volunteers assist in providing a free fun family event held by the Department of Community Services.
Special events hosted by New Castle County such as Sleep Under the Stars family camping events simply could NOT happen without the help of volunteers. These opportunities are great for individuals, corporate teams and groups such as school service groups, National Honor Society, sororities and fraternities, etc. Events are also a fun way to satisfy school service requirements.
Volunteer Opportunities Include: helping youngsters enjoy fun games and crafts, riding along on the hayrides to keep everyone safe and happy, helping load camping gear into wagons, parking assistance, and floating from assignment to assignment in order to assist where needed.
