County Executive Meyer reopens county’s fenced in bark parks

On Monday, June 1 at 8 a.m. New Castle County Executive Matthew Meyer and members of the community officially unlocked the Talley Day dog park. The other fenced in dog parks in New Castle County will open for guests at Glasgow, Iron Hill and Banning Parks. Carousel Park remained open.


Guests are reminded that masks are required while in the dog and everyone should practice social distancing. Dogs do not have to adhere to social distancing rules.


Tennis courts will reopen for recreational play on a first come first serve basis.
