As part of New Castle County’s Comprehensive Plan effort, the Department of Land Use will host a series of four virtual workshops to inform and discuss with our residents a diverse array of topics affecting the future of the county.
Our Homes & Neighborhoods will focus on the following:
- Housing affordability - What makes housing too expensive? Is there a disconnect between supply & demand?
- Social determinants of health - How does our living or working environment affect our health, well-being, and future?
- Environmental justice - How do we address the disproportionate impacts communities of color and/or less affluent neighborhoods have historically experienced from air pollution and water contamination?
