New Castle, DE – New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer applauded today’s announcement by The Center for Digital Government naming New Castle County as the national winner of their fifth annual Government Experience Awards. In a year challenged by a worldwide pandemic, New Castle County raised the bar with customer-centric digital services, emerging technologies and collaborations across private and public sectors, state and local agencies and local universities.
The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory institute that has benchmarked state and local government progress with technology for over 20 years. GovX awards recognize the policies, best practices, achievements, and alignment of technology with leadership goals to radically improve citizen experiences and services.
