New Castle County Division of Community Resources and The Walnut Street YMCA have partnered on the annual Black History Month celebration for seven years. In 2020 the Black History Month Celebration moved online and outdoors for a hybrid experience because of COVID-19 safety concerns. This year, the event is once again in person, but is modified and presented as an open house giving people more time and space to enjoy the event in smaller groups. All COVID-19 safety protocols will be in effect for the event including an indoor face covering requirement.
