The documentary was filmed over the course of The Hope Center’s first year, exploring the origins of The Hope Center project and the affordable housing crisis in Delaware. The documentary puts a human face to the hundreds of residents who have called The Hope Center home since it opened last year and shows the impact the project has had on their lives.

At Short Order, Christina Reilly directed a team that included Jason Prezant (director of photography), Sam Molloy (editing), Josh Johnson (sound), and Alexander Newman and Hannah Gellar (second unit interviews).

"The Hope Center is an innovative government program that is working, locally created and federal supported, said County Executive Meyer. “We are honored that the Emmy Awards and others are recognizing that success far outside of Delaware."

“We’re thrilled to have worked on this project and honored to share our first Emmy with these courageous leaders who made the Hope Center a reality,” said Zach Phillips, CEO and owner of Short Order Production House. "We are grateful for the opportunity to tell this important story, and I’m personally so proud of Christina and the team who put this film together under challenging circumstances.”
