Meyer announces two additional grant programs to benefit museums/animal non-profits

New Castle – New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer announced two additional grant programs to address impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Up to $1,000,000 has been allocated toward Museums Promoting Equity in History, Arts and/or Sciences and $500,000 has been allocated to non-profit organizations supporting animal welfare.  Applications for both programs are available here

 

These applications are open through Friday, December 16, 2022. 

 

These programs are part of a total of $9.55 million allocated for New Castle County-based non-profits from the county’s overall American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Applications will be reviewed for compliance with the federal funding requirements by New Castle County’s compliance partner, Guide House. Additional grant opportunities will be announced in the coming months.
