New Castle – New Castle County Libraries invites children and teens to share their art by participating in PAGES and IMAZINE. PAGES is a children’s literary and art magazine for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Young artists and writers can contribute by submitting a poem, joke, comic, short story, or hand-drawn art or collage. Entries can be submitted at the library or by filling out a quick form online and attaching a copy of the art or written work HERE.
Submissions will be reviewed and selected by library staff for inclusion in library publications, and those artists and writers included will receive a free copy of the PAGES magazine to keep. Separate magazines may be produced by each participating library.
IMAZINE is the annual Delaware Libraries teen literary and artistic magazine. Teens can be part of the excitement by contributing their poetry, short story, drawing, painting, photography, and more, to the 11th volume of the magazine. There is a 1,500-word limit on written submissions and teens may submit up to 3 pieces per category. Entries can be submitted at the library or online by filling out a quick google form HERE and emailing magazine submissions to [email protected] The print magazine will show the top library staff selected submissions. The online magazine will show all accepted submissions.
