Four New Castle County animal control constables were sworn in by County Executive Tom Gordon on Wednesday afternoon.
The animal control constables sworn in were Sherri Warburton, Kaila Suarez, Devon Streett, and Drew May.
“I know you’ll do a good job, and I wish you the best of luck,” County Executive Gordon said.
Since January 2010, administration of dog control in Delaware has been the responsibility of the counties. First State Animal Center and SPCA has been contracted by New Castle County to provide animal control services.
Constables Warburton, Suarez, Streett, and May will work out of New Castle County Police’s southern satellite in Middletown.
