Ira Hopkins, a 35-year-old male from the 300 block of Sandburg Place located in Newark, DE has died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the shooting that occurred Tuesday evening in the Village of Windhover Apartment Complex. The New Castle County Police learned Mr. Hopkins was pronounced dead at 1:04 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
