New Castle County Executive Tom Gordon plans to join other local and state officials at the Latin American Community Center’s annual open house scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday.
LACC officials will celebrate the nonprofit organization’s 45th anniversary as well as nearly 20 years of service by the esteemed Executive Director, Maria Matos.
The LACC’s 2014 open house theme is Making History….Creciendo Juntos (Growing Together). The open house also heralds the advent of Hispanic Heritage Month in greater Wilmington.
