New Castle County Announces Reward Money for Information on Homicides

In an attempt to bring closure to families who have lost loved ones as the result of senseless violence, New Castle County Executive Thomas P. Gordon has announced the authorization of a reward of up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those persons responsible for any unsolved homicide being investigated by the New Castle County Police.

Everyone in New Castle County Government fully supports the efforts to bring those who commit murder in New Castle County to justice and they are dedicated to solving these cases. The officers of the New Castle County Police will remain relentless in the investigation of each of these heinous crimes to seek justice for the victims, their families and their communities.

Anyone with information pertaining to a homicide investigation being investigated by the New Castle County Police is asked to call (302) 573-2800. Citizens can submit tips anonymously by going to and following the link for Tips and Alerts.

You will be asked for a subject line, the location the tip applies to, and your tip information. You may also attach a photograph. Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Citizens who currently have the Smartphone App are encouraged to use the “submit tip” tab to submit tips. Select a topic by using the “drop down” and complete the tip by “clicking” submit.
