New Castle County Government had a delayed opening of 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, and all libraries opened at noon on that day as well due to heavy snowfall that occurred Wednesday night into most of Thursday. Facilities were closed on Thursday, March 5.
In addition, Absalom Jones Senior Center was open, but transportation was canceled.
Everyone was urged to exercise an abundance of caution when driving that morning.
