[ARCHIVED] New Castle County Executive Orders County Flags Lowered for Fallen Military Troops

This morning, New Castle County Executive Thomas P. Gordon ordered New Castle County flags at all county facilities to be flown at half-staff to honor the tragic loss of life of our military members in Tennessee this past week.

"We honor the service, bravery, and the memory of our military," said the Executive. “Please keep the fallen soldiers and their families in your thoughts and prayers.”

County facilities include the Government Center off Reads Way, the Conner Building off Churchmans Road, the Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building off U.S. Route 13, and the Louis L. Redding City/County Building in Wilmington, among others.
