New Castle County Executive Tom Gordon's regional community meeting at Appoquinimink Library for the Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
County Executive Gordon directed the New Castle County Department of Public Safety and the Office of Community Governing to hold regional community meetings that discuss the County’s predictive policing, storm preparation, code enforcement and constituent services. County staff will also speak about the benefits of the County’s participation in the “Smart911” program, as well as civil penalties caused by code violations.
For the convenience of New Castle County citizens, five meetings were scheduled throughout various parts of the County. The meeting in Middletown is the fourth such meeting.
The last of five meetings is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Talleyville Fire Company in North Wilmington.
