  1. VIRTUAL FIBER ARTS

    We will explore the many ways of creating art with different fibers. Students will make small weaving, sewing and embroidery projects. Open to all levels. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. This course has an additional $30 materials fee that is collected at registration.   2. VIRTUAL BEGINNER'S WATERCOLOR

    Four 2-hour virtual classes. Learn watercolor techniques and how to apply them to a painting. Techniques include washes, brush work, glazing and color mixing. Practice each skill and combine them in a final project. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Throughout 2020, we received important feedback from you about the future of New Castle County - which then helped us understand generally where and what our collective priorities may be. This time we are diving deeper! We will host a series of five online workshops designed to further examine topics comprising the NCC@2050 Comprehensive Plan. During these workshops, subject matter experts and attendees will be asked to brainstorm and provide detailed input on draft goals, objectives, alternative future development possibilities, and strategies. The May 5th Deep Dive will focus on: Environmental Justice and Social Justice.
