  3. 2 DAY FABRIC DYEING WORKSHOP - ICE & INDIGO DYED SCARVES

    July 13, 2021, 2:00 PM - July 20, 2021, 3:30 PM @ Art Studio

    Two 1½-hour classes. First learn how to ice dye. Create a one-of-a-kind pattern, creating unique works of beauty that you can wear. Each scarf is graced with subtle color changes and stunning contrasts as the ice melts and carries the dye into the silk. The second class learn how to indigo dye. The fabric first comes out of the dye bath bright green and turns to deep blue right before your eyes. Dye and silk scarves are provided. Bring your own cotton/linen items to dye, if desired. Additional $40 materials fee due to instructor. Teens/Adults Face masks are required. Social distancing protocols in effect.

Join us for a joyful celebration of songs and scenes from past (and future) productions, featuring tunes by Michael Hahn, Liz Filios, Emily Schuman, and Joe Trainor. We missed you in 2020! This year, we’ve crafted a summer season of three exciting events as we get back into the groove at Rockwood Park. Come picnic in the park while enjoying programs that allow for social distancing among performers and audience members alike. We’re thrilled to “triple your Bard” this year…before the return of our mainstage Summer Festival production in 2022. All performances will last between 60-75 minutes.   3. Rockwood Paranormal Walking Tours

    Embark on an exciting new outdoor paranormal investigation of Rockwood Park. This is a rare opportunity to find out what paranormal activity may be going on outside the walls of the famously haunted mansion. Investigators get an opportunity to help in the search using sophisticated paranormal equipment. The tour meets at the mansion courtyard (museum Visitor's Entrance). Attendees must be able to traverse walks, hills, and occasional uneven surfaces of the park. This is an outdoor walking tour; no interiors of buildings are explored. Weather permitting. Please wear appropriate shoes; surfaces include grass, gravel, bricks, and paved areas. Tour begins promptly at 8:00 p.m. Maximum of 10 participants. Face masks, social distancing, temperature checks, and a brief COVID form required. Registration required. Ages 14-Adults
