    One 2-hour class. Bring any sized sketch pad and pencil for an enjoyable creative outing in the park. Take a nature walk with Kathy Andrzejewski, Certified Horticulture Therapist and learn about Rockwood Park historical facts, designs and creators. Stop at various locations to sketch the garden's beauty with instruction from drawing instructor, Karen Berstler. Participants are asked to bring their own sketch book and pencils as well as a portable stool or chair to sit on while sketching. Meet in the Mansion's Courtyard by the Visitor's Entrance to start the class. Ages 16+.

  1. CONNECTING GENERATIONS WITH TODDLERS MAKE MEMORY KEEPSAKES

    Two 1-hour classes. Caregivers and children come create art and memories together! In this class, you and your toddler will be creating clay handprint holiday keepsakes! This class will have 2 sessions, one to create your clay handprint keepsake and the other to glaze your piece. There is time between the first and second class to allow the piece to be fired in the kiln. After the second class, the piece will have to be fired in the kiln a second time. You will receive an email after your second class informing you when the piece is ready for pick up. Additional $20 material fee. The cost of the class and material fee is for the caregiver and child. There must be at least one caregiver per child. Ages 12 months - 3.

    Create original sculptural art installations in Rockwood's historic garden using materials sourced from nature such as pine cone, dried flowers, branches, rocks, leaves and other found objects.
