Movers and Shakers at the Whitehall Rec Center

Movers & Shakers is a music & movement class that is fun, lively and educational too! It is an opportunity for children and their caregiver to be introduced to songs & lyrics, rhythms & rhymes, & other fun games & activities too. We will sing, dance, explore colorful, musical instruments of all kinds, reach for bubbles & scarves soaring through the air, and much more!! Class is designed for children ages 10mo - 5yrs of age and a caregiver. Must register online in advance.

Zumba® at the Whitehall Rec Center

Zumba Fitness is a program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. It incorporates interval training alternating fast and slow rhythms to help improve cardiovascular fitness. Zumba Toning uses lightweight toning sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, and thighs. It combines body sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work to create a calorie-torching, strength-training fitness party. Instructor: Amy Ashby and Cindy Fletcher. $6 drop-in/class upon entering.
