    Four 2-hour classes. Come and explore this ancient technique of painting on fabric. Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth. Batik uses layers of wax and dye to produce designs on fabric. Learn how to prepare your fabric, apply wax-resist, paint with dye and finish your piece. Leave with a beautiful one-of-a-kind scarf. Additional $20 material fee. Ages 16+
